Hand Cut Dovetails - First Attempt Ever

BEHOLD! My first ever hand cut dovetail!

I failed, but 10/10 will try again!

Also, getting wholloped by a sinus cold in the middle of the summer is really not fun. I made the mistake of letting my niece have a bite of my snack the other day, unaware that she was carrying the plague, and then quickly fell ill myself.

Anyways today was the first that that I was feeling on the up and up, so I wanted to get at least something filmed for you, even if I didn't have the time for a Build IT: With Ben episode. I hope you enjoy my first attempt at a dovetail joint, it definitely is going to require more practice on my part. And unlike a lot of things where I get really frustrated when I initially suck at something, I'm really motivated to keep working on this joint, because I have a lot of drawers to make in the near future.
