Build IT: Repair a Wooden Cutting Board

My good friend Glenn asked me to repair this cutting board that his mother made when she was in highschool. After 60 some years of wear and tear the glue joints between the Walnut, and Oak, panels had failed and the cutting surface was pretty beat up.

So I took it back to the shop, removed the old glue, added some biscuit joints and put it back together. After a few passes with a hand plane and some mineral oil, it’s ready to go back into service, good as new.
